Pahalgam

is one of the towns in Anantnag district of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on the bank of Lidder River. It is a Tahsil and the HQ of the said Pahalgam Tahsil also. There are the total eleven districts in Anantnag and Pahalgam is one of them. It is a hill station and a popular tourist destination which is 45 KM far away from the Anantnag district. It is famous place and known as the starting point for the pilgrimage of Amarnath temple which usually take place in July-August each year. Pahalgam means ” Village of the Shepherds“.

Climate

Pahalgam has climate with mild summers and cold winters. In the nighttime mainly cold winds make temperature below zero-degree.  In the winter season we can see heavy snowfall up to 4 m (13 ft) thick. During the summer season from June to October temperature are at a maximum level.

Recent Terrorist Attack

A terrorist attack happened at Pahalgam in which 28 Indian citizens were killed in cold blood. Earlier it happened to those people only who may be on a trip of holy places like Amarnath Yatra, Shankaracharya Temple, Raghunath Temple, Vaishno Devi Temple & Kheer Bhavani Temple etc. This is the first time it’s been heard that 28 Indian citizens were killed while they were at Pahalgam for the purpose of tourism. It was shocking that they were asked to recite kalma for confirmation, some of them even made out the clothes from their body according to some reports. After being confirmation of  their religion as Hindu, they got shot at the same time, according to the reports. After this unexpected incidents, there are some questions directly stuck in our subconscious mind.

Why was there no security check post or deployment of JK police in that area?	As i mentioned in above para, this is the first time happened like this incident. There were many more incidents happened earlier which was only to those pilgrimage who were gone for the purpose of visiting of holy places.
How could it be possible that they did not was afraid of law and jurisdiction?	Definitely this type of people does not be afraid of law and jurisdiction they are exceptional in humanity. They mind washed for Jihad. However, they do not know the exact meaning of Jihad (according to them the meaning of Jihad is to spread Islam by killing to the others).
Where they came from and where they ran away?	According to the source, there were the total five terrorists seen over there in which three of them are from Pakistan and the two were from the local villages. It is yet to be known to us that where they have gone away.
Was there any support of the locals? If yes, then why? and if not, then why they did not get caught yet?	It is slightly difficult to say that this type of incidents would be occurred without support of the locals. There would definitely be involvement of some locals. But definitely the supportive locals can be some political influencer, or they are not involved in the business of tourism sector. Because most of the people over there are getting money through the tourism Article 370 and 35 A in simple way.
Were there the Jammu and Kashmir Police doing duty effectively/honestly?	As i mentioned earlier this is the first time that the attack has been happened to the tourists. State police were not expected so. If we talk about the honesty and duties of Jammu and Kashmir Police, definitely after the incidents we have seen it is questionable. May be because of they are afraid of doing their duties or be honest with their duties What is the right solution of Kashmir Issue?.
Is there any possibility of Pakistan involvement?	Whatever the incidents we have seen in the Jammu and Kashmir definitely some sources have been found which belongs to Pakistan. Rather than blaming Pakistan for this type of incidents we should take a look inside our country, people who are involving in this type of activities The Kashmir Issue.
Should India take military action against Pakistan?	Definitely not for this attack only. War is not the solution at all. India is a developing country; war will get the country behind back for many years. There are having many more options by which India can take revenge. India should clean the inner side of dust (the person who are creating problem for the country).

India’s Perspective

First of all, I offer my condolence to the families of all the people who lost their lives in the Pahalgam attack. When Uri attack happened, India did surgical strike and killed many terrorists. When happened in Pulwama, India carried out air strike in Balakot and destroyed terrorist camps. I know that terrorism cannot be completely erased, it will take time. They mind washed and redicalise the young boys to make them terrorist. The terrorist don’t afraid of death, they mind washed as they do not have their own mind. Whatever the incidents happened in India everything was planned, that should be noticed. How did the terrorists know everything. How they reach there at their destination. There must be having there in India who are giving them directions. That should be eliminated first, that’s why i said earlier. India need to clean its inner periphery first. India should not blame Pakistan only, Indian government should notify the person who are involved in the incidents like Pahalgam. let’s stay united and let the Government tackle the problem.

War with Pakistan?

looking at the current circumstances, India does not need to do blown war against Pakistan. All India has to do, is use Strategy. Weaken them Diplomatically. It’s like poisoning the enemy and watch them die a slow death. As i said earlier, their economy is already on life support, and all it needs is a little “push” for a complete collapse. Even without India’s intervention, Pakistan as a country will collapse. For sure! After all, a country which was founded on the basis of hate won’t survive for long. It is as they say, “Those who live by the gun, die by the gun.”. Finally war is not the solution. We can have our different opinions on various topics and friendly debates, but let’s not forget to stay united when it really matters. As far as concern Pakistan, the Indian government is thinking to weaken the Pakistan Army strategically. There is no need to do war against the country who has not even think to stand against India. India should attack on their economy which is already on life support. Hit them hard where it hurts. India need to work like Israel in this regard.

QUICK ANALYSIS

We should let the Government figure out what action to take against the culprit on the basis of real analysis not on the basis of sentiment. Indian government at least this time should not play blaming game. May be as usual it can be happened, rather than the action against culprit, some sanctions will be imposed on Pakistan till the matter get settled down. But again after some days, week or a month a fire will be opened on the innocent people in Jammu and Kashmir. Because the terrorist will again think that the government and the people of India will again blame Pakistan rather than punish/caught them.
